What You Need To Know About Handicapped Door Openers

Automation helps people of all different ability levels, and ADA door opening systems are no exception. Those with different abilities, including those who use wheelchairs, can use powered door openers to gain access to residential and commercial buildings. With these systems, an automatic opener opens the door, and the closer will close the door once the time limit has been reached. This makes entering an establishment or home much easier for somebody who finds it difficult to use the handle.

About Me

Replacing Old Home Doors Can Keep Your Family Safer

My home was burglarized a couple years ago. All the thief had to do to break into my home was break a window on my back door and then stick their arm inside to unlock the door from the inside. The first thing I did to prevent future break-ins was replace both of my exterior doors. Since I had to replace the one that was broken into immediately to help keep us safe, I called a police officer who is a friend of mine to get advice on what door to choose that would be the safest. I know not everyone has someone to contact for advice like I got, so I decided to make a blog to share what I learned from him and everything else I learned about doors since the break in.
